Kappi Plus began through a shared journey of business, hospitality, and customer-focused experiences. Over the years, both founders worked across entrepreneurship, specialty coffee, hospitality, and customer-driven Industries; building a deep understanding of quality, consistency, and experience.
That journey led to one simple idea: Coffee should feel premium, authentic, and approachable at the same time. Kappi Plus was built to bring together modern coffee culture, strong Indian roots, and everyday coffee experiences people can genuinely connect with. A brand designed around thoughtful sourcing, smooth instant coffee, and meaningful coffee moments that feel naturally refined.

Gaurav Borkar leads the business vision, strategic growth, finance management, and international trade operations at Kappi Plus. With experience across entrepreneurship, hospitality, and customer-focused industries, he brings strong expertise in business development, operations, and long-term brand-building.
Gaurav co-founded Kappi Plus in 2025 with the vision of creating a modern Indian coffee brand built on authenticity, consistency, and global quality standards.
Mayur Borkar |Coffee Experience & Product quality.
Mayur Borkar oversees sourcing, product quality, coffee experience, and innovation at Kappi Plus. Coming from a hospitality and specialty coffee background, he has worked with luxury hotel brands including The Ritz-Carlton, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, and Movenpick Hotels & Resorts by Accor in Dubai.
Combining international hospitality exposure with a strong understanding of coffee culture, Mayur co-founded Kappi-Plus in 2025 to create coffee experiences that feel refined, approachable, and consistent in quality.

Coffee has always been deeply connected to both our personal and professional journeys.
Through years of experience in hospitality, specialty coffee environments, and customer-focused industries, we saw how strongly people connect with a good cup of Coffee; not just through taste, but through routine, comfort, energy, and conversation.
At the same time, we noticed a clear gap in the market between expensive premium brands and inconsistent mass-market products. India produces some of the finest arabica coffee and robusta coffee beans in the world, yet many consumers still struggled to find affordable premium-quality coffee.
Kappi Plus was created to bridge that gap by offering coffee that feels premium, authentic, approachable, and consistent for everyday consumers.
